– Clarification of all open questions during the preliminary meeting.
– Signing of the declaration of consent.
– Use cold compresses as directed to reduce swelling.
– Do not apply ice directly to the skin as excessive cold can cause swelling.
– Do not take painkillers (e.g. Ibuprofen 600) until the anesthetic has worn off.
– Take antibiotics as instructed and point out any allergies.
– Keep a check-up appointment on the following day.
– Stitches are removed after 7-10 days.

– Avoid physical exertion to prevent a rise in blood pressure and post-operative bleeding.
– Take care when operating machinery or driving due to possible impaired reaction time.
